Reunions, Parties and Jed's Birthday!

Happy Birthday Jed! Jed turned 28 on Friday! Today we had cake with some family here and then Jed and Addie decided to take it down a notch and chill...it's been a busy past few days! Addie loves her daddy so much (so does her mommy). It is so cute to watch her get excited and squeal at him when he comes home. Happy Birthday sweetheart- I love you the most!

Saturday evening we had a party at Jed's parents house for his grandma Margaret. She turned 70- which is hard to believe! She has more energy and does more than most 40-year-olds! We love you Margaret! Great Grandma Margaret, Grammy Dawn and Addie

Girls being girls- look at these little dolls in their cute summer dresses! Kiana is 11 months, Eden is almost a year, and Addie is six months. (Again, very tricky getting pics of mulitple babies- this was take 6)

So through the wonderful world of Blogs, I was reunited with my long last friend Megan! We were such good friends in high school and have lost track over the years. We went to lunch with our little ones...Here are Annabelle and Addie being cute

My friend Niki was here visiting so we got together and took our little ones swimming at my mom's house. It was fun and good to hang out for awhile. I took tons of pictures in the pool, haha but none where they were both looking. Here they are after swimming- cute little friends :)

What a fun week it has been! Jed's 10th year reunion was Friday, which was also his birthday. He pulled the birthday card and opted to go see the new Batman movie (which was AWESOME!) instead of actually going. However, he had a few friends in town for it who were going and we were able to get together with a few of them this week. It was fun to see/meet them. He was brought back to the DECA days....while I just enjoyed the cute kids and arranging the future marriage of Harrison and Addie ;)

Harrison and Addie...they're about 3 weeks apart and so cute together aren't they. Hilary and I think they look alike even. Jed and Zac have said that they can get married once they've both gone to law school ;) But seriously....Harrison and Addison Robinson- you can't make these things up!

Random Stuff

I thought of some random stuff that I thought I'd share....This is what comes of being up at 1am not being able to sleep...

* iReader- From your iGoogle or Gmail page you can go to a page where you put all of your blogs that you read in and it will show you any new posts on them. I have become a big blogging fan, so it is so cool to just go to one page to check rather than checking individual blogs (Thanks Lori) I'll give instructions to anyone interested.....haha maybe everyone else already knows!
* seriouslysoblesssed.blogspot.com- Only for those who have a sense of humor! This is basically a mockery of a newlywed blog. It is hilarious to read just for kicks. Jed's cousin Rhett told us about it and Jed laughed so hard reading through it.
* Gas Card Promotion- My real estate team is doing a promotion for buyers right now. Anybody to close on a home with us before September 30th will get a gas card for $250, $500, or $1000 depending on the price of the home. Let me know if you're in the market for a house and I'll give details.
*Addie's stats- I took Addie for her six month check-up the other day and here are her stats- She weighs 15.5 lbs , 25.75 inches long and is healthy :) She had to get shots which I hate even more than she does, but she's a tough girl.
*Dresses anywhere?- So we have 2 weddings coming up in the next couple of months and I decided that shopping for "modest" dresses sucks, especially when you need a certain color. I can't wear most things out there, and the stores that specialize in dresses for us LDS friends want me to pay $200 or more for a dress that I'll never wear again. I'm not necessarily asking for a solution....mostly just want to rant about it.

Party Time!

So we have officially deemed the month of July as the nonstop party month. Between Birthdays and Holidays and just BBQ's with friends, we've been partying a lot the past few weeks! Between our families we have 9 Birthdays- including Jed's!! So let the fun begin! Here are some pictures from our get togethers this weekend...

Here are Addie and little friend Reagan. Reagan is the daughter of our friends, Van and Lori. They played really cute together. They're both sitting pretty well now and were just sitting playing with each other's toys. They wanted to not only share toys, but also binkis, which we had to put a stop to. Haha, they're funny. Reagan rolled around and Addie wanted to just play with Reagan's face. Too fun to watch :) Addie rolled from her back to tummy while there for the first time! Jed missed it so hopefully she'll do it again soon.

James and Lacey brought their cute kids...Hailey loves the water! Hannah on the other hand is not so sure about it. By the end of the day, she was jumping in. Kemmer is in the background playing basketball with Chad. He's so cute and he loves swimming too.

So whatever bakery thought "Oh, let's put hot pink frosting on these cupcakes" did not anticipate this..... our niece Hannah sure loved it though! But that frosting dyed everyone's skin for the rest of the day.

6 Months Old!

Addie is 6 months old! Where did a half of a year go? She just keeps getting more and more fun, which helps make up for the fact that she isn't our tiny newborn anymore. We love this little girl to pieces. She is our world and we're not sure what we did before her. And yes, my daughter is wearing a onsie with a tutu attached to it....does this really surprise anyone? ;)

She loves her feet! This is a standard Addie position- grabbing her toes with her tongue out.

Our big girl! She decided the nigth before she turned 6 months old that she liked rice cereal. After about a month of trying it off and on, she finally ate some. Before she always would spit it out and not swallow it. It's as if she thought, "well I'm going to be 6 months old, I guess I should eat this. She even laughed last night while eating it.

Happy 80th Birthday Grandpa Darrell!

What a great day! We had a huge party at the Weller's for Jed's Grandpa and Addie's Great Grandpa. Lots of family and friends came by to see Grandpa Darrell and it was a lot of fun to see everyone. Addie is quite the party girl and LOVES all the people! I can't get over how much she loves big groups of people. She was so tired and needed a nap but kept on partying. Happy 80th Gramp- we all love you!

I just loved this picture of Addie with her Great Gramp before the party started just hanging out on the swing. She loves him. You can see where she gets her good looks ;)

Addie has discovered balloons and loves them! She played with them all day with everyone. Jed's cousin Jenny was really cute with her making sure she had all the balloons she wanted. Jen- you took some other cute pics today- please email them :) then we'll blog 'em up!

4th of July

We had such a fun 4th of July with Addie! We started with going breakfast in the park in Huntsville. It was so nice and cool and Addie just loves being outside with lots of people to smile at and charm. We went and visited with Niki and Brian for a bit since they're in town....we miss getting to see them.

Then we went over to Grandma Rees's house to swim and visit with family. It was so fun to splash and see everyone- including Addie's new cousin Beckam. He's so cute and little :)

We went up to Papa Steve and Grammy Dawn's house for a BBQ and fireworks. Again, Addie thought the fireworks were funny. We're glad she wasn't afraid of them. Here are some pics from the day....
