Jed was mowing the lawn last night and wanted Addie to try riding it with him for a minute. Good daddy-daughter bonding right? She wasn't sure she liked the noise, but always loves her daddy :)

Happy 1st Mother's Day

I had a great first Mother's Day! Jed made me yummy waffles with strawberries and whipped cream and Addie helped I'm sure. I got a few gifts too- including new headphones which I desperately needed. We got to visit most of the family, which is always fun to see everyone!

4 Months Old!

Addie will officially be four months old tomorrow! She's getting so big- 13 lbs now! So she has doubled her birth weight. She's still our smiley, giggly girl. She's starting to hold onto things like blankets and toys. She's just starting to swat at the toy that hang down from her play mat. It's fun to watch her grow :)

Addie's blessing

Here is a picture of Addie in her blessing dress....so sweet! We blessed her 2 weeks ago, sorry I took so long to get a picture up! She's been sick with a little cold this week :( It's pretty sad. She's starting to feel a little better. She's still so happy and smiley even though she's sick. Little sweetheart!

Three Months Old!

Our little sweet girl is 3 months old today! We can hardly believe it! What a joy she has been in our lives! Who knew we could love and adore her so much?

She just continues to get bigger and more and more fun. She is such a happy baby. She smiles so much and has started to giggle more! It's the cutest sound I've ever heard. Each morning when I go into her room when she wakes up, she smiles at me so big and wiggles as if she's trying to will herself into my arms. It's so cute! It makes waking up soooo worth it, especially since I've never been a morning person.

One thing that I have loved about having Addie in our home has been watching Jed be the best dad to her. He is so good with her, always making her smile and giggle. She loves him!

Addie has finally hit the 10 lb. mark and is about 22 inches long- what a big girl! At least we think so. It's bittersweet to watch her grow. We love seeing her develop and learn new things, but it saddens us that she won't stay this little forever. It goes with the territory I know. We are blessing her on Sunday and I'm looking forward to seeing our sweet baby in my blessing dress. It will be a special day- we hope to share it with all of our friends and family who can be there. Thanks to everyone for the love and support these past few months- we appreciate all the people that Addie gets to have in her life! We love her with all our hearts!
