Okay, so I've been having MAJOR technical difficulties in the blogging/picture taking world. It's really a shame when within 2 weeks, child number 1 drops and breaks your camera and child number 2 throws your phone to the ground shattering the glass. Thankfully said deceased phone had already uploaded these pics to google so I can access them, but alas I haven't had a good way, other than Jed's phone to take pictures. The loaner phone I was using that had a few pictures on it...uh...went missing while boating two weeks ago. (I KNOW!!) SO, all of those photos are gone...forever. I'll have to see what I can put together from the stuff from Jed's and hopefully put together a post in the future of what we've been up to this summer. Until then, here are some happenings from May. Sorry for the looong intro. If you're still reading, kudos to you. That means that the interwebs, DVRs, and instant streaming world we live in hasn't completed jaded you.
Some randoms....
He thinks he's hilarious...I think he's adorable
Addie helping "check on brother" when he woke up from his nap"
He has discovered the cozy coupe. Love at first sight. Just like his daddy and little red coupes ;)
Standard dude position.
Taking a stroll
We took a little break from real life and pretended we went on vacation....all the way to SLC ;)
We went to a baptism in Sandy early one Saturday morning, then surprised Addie by telling her we were going to sleep in a hotel, swim and play ALL day together.
We started up at Ruth's diner for some good grub. Who makes pancakes that looks like a teddy bear? They do. Cute.
We were all SO stuffed after.
We went to the This is the Place park and saw all the baby farm animals
(isn't it odd to see us all wearing jackets in these pictures? holy crap, it's friggin hot now)
Addie had a pony ride :) and for those who don't know, ponies aren't baby horses....
cutest little goats and animal friends all over that we could just walk up and pet
or be licked by...the sheep followed Dalton's stroller. At first I wondered if they thought he was their mama. Then I remembered he had snacks in the bottom. Ha. That goat really wanted to eat his leather binky clip though.
Riding the train
How entertaining City Creek is for boys
Addie would live there though. She was thrilled to show her daddy the Disney store.
So excited to sleep in a couch that became a bed. That blew her mind. My kids are deprived in the traveling department I guess. She kept saying, Um I think this just IS a real vacation.
Awesome, keep expectations low. I like it.
The next morning, Dalton woke up with a fever :(
Poor lovey.
He's pretending the thermometer is a phone. "Hi Daddy"
A couple dance pictures....there was also a recital. It was 4 hours long. Enough said.
Morning cuddles. I like that they like each other.
Swiiing....ah, late spring/early summer. How I adore those temperatures.
Mother's Day "Pignic" at Addie's preschool.
I'm unsure where the photos from her graduation ended up....hopefully on dad's phone. Sigh, someday I'll figure out where June is....
Lovin' spaghetti
No monkeys allowed sign. This has been on my door til a week ago. Apparently that is a huge problem these days, keeping monkeys out of bedrooms?
Dinosaur park field trip
BFFs....love those girls
Dalton can say "apple" and it's cute.
And....then later this day, my phone was shattered into an oblivion. Goodbye, dear Epic. You did indeed see me through some Epic times. Xoxo.
I titled this picture "epic fail" fitting, yes?
And now, I shall scroll through my facebook and instagram photos hoping to put together another post soon about how awesome summer is and such. Hope all of you are enjoying yours! Heaven knows y'all aren't blogging about it if you are! :)
