Founder's Day Fun

Pleasant View Founder's day was last Saturday. We made a whole day of it and hung out in the PV from 9am till 11pm! Here's what the day consisted of.
The Parade!

Happy to be there!

Addie went down a BIG slideNeeded help getting up, but then went down all by herself!
Of course daddy had to get down the slide somehow ;)Addie was so excited to be there. That morning she wanted to wear one of her church dresses to the parade. For some reason she thought it was a fancy event. We settled on her cupcake sundress. I told her to wave to the people and they'd throw her treats. She caught onto this very quickly and thought it was the coolest thing.

note her blurry hand...she waved almost the WHOLE time. Cute.

After the parade, we went down to the Pleasant View park to watch Jed's uncle Jon throw out the first pitch of a baseball game. It was the firefighters vs policemen and he was the MC. Addie, Whitney and grandma Margaret

Great Grandpa SmithMy grandpa was in town for the weekend to see my aunt Janet who's recovering from surgery. Addie and I went up to see him and give him some loves.

Gotta love an evening of yummy food, s'mores, sparkler's and fireworks!! We had so much fun playing with the family who joined in the fun. Thanks Steve and Dawn for always throwing an awesome party!

"Do you want to put it in fire mommy?"
yes my child has cupcake jammies
I loved cuddling my two sweeties and watching the fireworks! Perfect way to end a fun-filled day.
