Wednesday Dawn was off work and Ash was in town so we decided to take the kids on the Frontrunner down to Salt Lake. It was HOT outside but we had a fun little adventure!
She was so excited!
She's so funny. She kept saying "Weee! We're going so fast!" I'm sure actual commuters aren't nearly as entertained by their train ride to Salt Lake.
Once we got downtown we went to the Gateway, where Grammy Dawn took the kids to Build-A-Bear to make their own bears. They're kind of spoiled, but hey what are grandmas for!
Addie chose a pink bear....no surprise there. Then put her heart inside and pressed the pedal for the stuffing machine so her bear could get fluffed up.
She loved the "bath" part. Air blows out and you pretend to bathe your bear and brush it and such.
Dressing her bear....it took her about 2.5 seconds to pick out an outfit for her bear. There's a huge wall full of clothing, but when she saw this outfit it was settled!
Once again, no surprise! Princess Aurora bear! May have had something to do with the previous day's events.....either way she was quite adamant that was the outfit and picked pink sparkly princess shoes to match of course!

Thursday, we played with Ashley again. Her birthday is next week and she won't be here, so we went to dinner the night before. Addie was appalled that she didn't blow out a candle and nobody sang to her.
So we fixed that :) Ash isn't a cake fan, so we got her a doughnut, put a candle in it and let Addie sing to her. Pretty sure Addie was more into in than Ash, but hey who doesn't love an excuse for a doughnut?
Then we went over to Gram and Gramp's house to meet up with Jenny, Jed's cousin and her cute baby girl, Mia. They're in Texas (with half our friends) for grad school so we haven't seen them since December.
