Pioneer parade & a Princess party

Goodness, I'm so behind....sorry these posts may be picture overload because that's what happens when I go two weeks without a post. I take WAY too many pictures to not blog frequently....I'll try to keep it short and sweet, but I'm not making any promises. Considering this is the first of three posts, just get comfy if you plan to actually read them all :) Or do what my mom admits she does, and just scroll through the pictures ha ha. Love you mom.

On Saturday the 24th, we went to downtown Ogden to watch the Pioneer Days parade with Addie. She's become quite the little parade goer. We didn't watch the whole thing, but it was fun to walk around and people watch/parade watch.

Addie ADORES the downtown Ogden horses. She was so excited when they came back at the first of the summer. She still says, "yay the horses are back" when we drive by them. So pretty much, she just wanted to see horses, so we saw lots of them.

Oh and we walked through the farmer's market, where we found some suitable breakfast
that's right.....mercy it was good.

Oh and we did watch part of the parade too...see? Addie. Parade watching on daddy's shoulders.
She likes all the marching bands and would bust some sweet moves while they all went by.

Jed of course gave some shout outs to some recognizable newscasters that went by.....
Dan Pope and Keith McCord were on a fire truck and Jed said "Hey Keith McCord's mustache!"

We went for a little swim afterwards.....it was much needed after the heat

Eden's Princess Party
Princess Eden- the birthday girl!

We were so excited to go and celebrate Eden's 3rd birthday this week. Addie has definitely entered that princess stage so she LOVED being able to dress up like a princess and party!
Eden's Gorgeous Cake! (heaven's no we didn't bake this!)
Eden as Cinderella, Carson was a "royal guardsmen" and Addie was Aurora

Cinderella Came!! I don't think the girls quite knew what to do at first. She was very cute and did a great job. She told some stories, sang songs and even made princess crowns with them.

All the princesses with Cinderella

Addie with Cinderella....though she just wanted to show her the wand she had the whole time.

The Birthday Girl- Cinderella even brought her a special crown!
Two Cinderellas?! That's crazy talk (that's something Addie would say)

Addie in her crown she made. She's been showing everyone this crown.

Chatting with Uncle Jon

Addie giving Cinderella a love good-bye.....I love Eden in the background fixing Kiana's crown. Such GIRLS :)

We had some cute kid-sized snacks and cupcakes and sang to Eden. Then in true McFarland birthday fashion, we sang to all the other kids at the party so they could each blow out a candle.

It was such a FUN party and everything was so dang CUTE! Cidny, you did a great job. Addie has been telling anyone who'll listen about the party all week long!

Loved having Princess Aurora (aka Addison) at our princess party! She and Eden are darling together. I am so pleased that there are other little "cousins" for my kids to grow up with!

Your pictures are darling, and thanks again for helping out with the cupcakes...We never did cut the Cinderella cake!
